We pride ourselves in offering an accessible retirement option for seniors, featuring all-inclusive amenities. Monthly rent will vary by location, apartment size and floor plan – but many residents find that a lifestyle of chef-prepared meals, and freedom from daily tasks that come with living at home, is surprisingly affordable.
The one-time community fee varies by location. Contact your Atria community of choice to learn more about specific costs.
Atria Retirement Canada has always been focused on providing quality senior living at an approachable price. We work hard to keep our rates competitive and don’t offer company-wide discounts. However, individual communities may periodically offer a special or discount.
All kinds of pets are welcome for a nominal fee, though your individual community may have specifications regarding size and temperament. Our residents’ pets include dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and fish. Whatever the species or breed – we can’t wait to meet your pal.
We have a long history of implementing effective infectious disease response procedures. Due to the pandemic, we have enhanced cleaning and sanitizing practices, are following masking protocols, and practice changes to dining and activities programs to accommodate social distancing. All of our decisions are guided by national recommendations and medical experts so we can keep residents as safe as possible.
We frequently hear from residents that after moving to Atria, their social calendars are busier than ever. That’s because our Engage LifeTM events program is based on residents’ hobbies and interests. Every planned activity is designed to enhance well-being through fitness, connection and engagement. Monthly event calendars might include:
- Exercise classes
- Movie screenings
- Museum outings
- Shopping excursions
- Theater performances
There is always something fun and interesting to do with your neighbours – and we take care of the cooking, cleaning and maintenance so you have more time to discover hobbies and passions.
Atria’s skilled culinary team provides flavourful, chef-prepared meals that are well-balanced and meant to be savoured in the company of friends and family. Our menus are designed around connection – and with resident-inspired suggestions in mind, we aim to please a range of tastes while supporting well-being.
Atria residents enjoy the flexibility of hiring third-party providers to meet their care needs, if required. Residents are also equipped with an emergency alert device, designed to foster independence and keep senior safety top of mind.
